AC Slater

Is it impossible for electronic artists to sit down and write an entire album? Progressive metal bands can write a double album in a weekend. The "single" format is the staple in electronic music. Dubstep is notorious for this prolific output of singles, so is House. This way record stores can charge 10$ for a an imported 12". To somehow combine the two areas of thin but steady work is yet another crossover genre called Fidget House...or Dubhouse. Taking the structure of House, and keeping the "wooble" and heavy beats of Dubstep, Fidget House is a junkyard construction hell bent on crashing through your living room window and starting a party. What fidget-house lacks in street cred from dubstep fans it makes up with in incredibly addictive beats. AC Slater (best name ever) recently released the Rock It Out EP, a combination of 4 songs and two remixes, which is like a triple LP in the world of electronic music. The way AC Slater hooks listeners into a song is almost the same, if not cloned, from the deceased 8-bit candy crunk OCDJ. Enjoy the early summer with a mindless dance record.
